Thanks to the altitude of up to 3.250m, perfect snow conditions are always guaranteed, 365 days a year! A special attraction is the "Glacier Round Trip". 72km of slopes and 15.000m of altitude difference are a fascinating challenge - can you do it in one day? Come here and find out! If you prefere casual skiing, choose from 227 km of slopes and 59 lifts with a capacity of 98.840 persons per hour - this means no queues! After a day on the slopes, why not ski down one of the 3 runs to the bottom of the valley? All these facts make Tux one of the best ski resorts in the alps - come and see for yourself!

CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING

If you decide to take a day off and stay down in the valley, why not go cross-country skiing? 14km of classical tracks as well as 14km of tracks for the skating technique are maintained by the tourist board and are are available for your leisure - for free!

Winter in Tux offers countless other possibilites: Why not try tobbogganing? Or, for the couples that visit Tux: Romantic sleigh rides are also available!

ICE SKATING AND BAVARIAN CURLING

Experience fun on ice in Lanersbach! The large natural skating rinks allow you to try out your skating skills. FUn for all the family! If you are not a skater yourself, why not sit down and watch the children race around the skating rink whilst enjoying a drink or two yourself. Bavarian curling lanes are also available and offer fun for old and young!

WINTER WALKING TRAILS

We have established that Tux is great for walking and hiking in summer - but did you know that we aso offer 68 km of winter walking trails? All of them are prepared for you walking comfort. The trails towards Eggalm, Penken or Sommerbergalm are a special challenge, but once you have reached the mountain huts, panoramic restaurants and traditional huts await you! Of course, you can also reach them by cable car.
